If an article contains a factual error, send the article URL and the passage in question. We will check it and, if it is wrong, fix it and record the change on the corrections page.
Pitch a topic
We are most interested in subjects where a reader is being told something confidently and incorrectly, or where a decision has real consequences they will not see explained anywhere else. Explain the question you think deserves an article.

Anything that does not fit the routes above. We read everything, though we cannot guarantee a reply to every message.
What we cannot help with
We do not offer advertising placement, sponsored content, syndication deals or press passes. We do not take payment for coverage, and we will not publish anything we cannot stand behind for editorial reasons. Requests of that kind are declined by default.
Response time
We aim to acknowledge factual reports within a few working days. Pitches may take longer, because a good answer takes research. We do not publish unsolicited press releases, and we cannot guarantee publication of anything sent to us.
